1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stedman's Plumbing website and the plumbing services we provide. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Stedman's Plumbing reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
2. Services Provided
Stedman's Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services in Fresno, CA and surrounding areas, including but not limited to:
- Drain cleaning and sewer services
- Water heater installation, repair, and replacement
- Leak detection and pipe repair
- Toilet, faucet, and fixture services
- Gas line plumbing and safety inspections
- Slab repair and trenchless sewer solutions
- New construction plumbing
- Whole-home repiping
- Emergency plumbing (after-hours availability)
All services are performed by licensed, insured plumbers. License: Lic. #1110490.
3. Scheduling and Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled by phone, online form, or through our website. We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within your scheduled window. Service windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, prior jobs, or emergency calls.
We ask that you or an authorized adult (18+) be present at the property during the service visit. For emergency after-hours services, please call our emergency line at 559-770-9772. Additional after-hours rates may apply.
4. Estimates and Pricing
We provide honest, upfront pricing before beginning any work. Written estimates are provided for larger projects. For standard service calls, the technician will provide a quote on-site before starting work.
Pricing on our website, coupons, and promotional materials is subject to change without notice. Coupons and discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing in advance. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at the time of service.
- A service call fee may apply and will be disclosed prior to the visit.
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
- Past-due balances may be subject to late fees and collection activity.
- Returned checks are subject to a returned check fee.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
Stedman's Plumbing stands behind our workmanship. Labor warranties are provided on a per-job basis as communicated by your technician or in your written estimate. Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and equipment we install.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, pre-existing conditions not identified prior to service, or acts outside our control.

7. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient service visit, customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the plumbing issue and property conditions
- Ensure safe access to all areas where work is to be performed
- Disclose known hazards (asbestos, mold, structural issues, etc.) before the visit
- Secure pets away from the work area
- Not request technicians to perform work that violates building codes or safety standards
8. Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 2 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a standard appointment. For same-day cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice, a cancellation fee may apply.
Stedman's Plumbing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to technician illness, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
9. Liability Limitations
Stedman's Plumbing carries general liability insurance and worker's compensation coverage. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions or damage not caused by our work
- Damage resulting from customer-provided parts or materials
- Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages (e.g., lost use of facilities)
- Delays caused by factors outside our control
Our total liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
10. Property Access and Safety
By scheduling service, you authorize our technicians to access the relevant areas of your property. We reserve the right to stop or decline work if conditions present an unsafe working environment.
11. Website Use
The content on our website — including text, images, logos, and other materials — is owned by or licensed to Stedman's Plumbing and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly first. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Fresno County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. California law governs these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of Fresno County, California.
